Festival of Chariots – Surfer’s Paradise

Everyone is invited to join us for the Gold Coast festival of chariots. Magnificent hand crafted chariots will be pulled along the foreshore of the Surfer’s Paradise. This ancient festival symbolises peace, spirituality and unity in cultural diversity. For thousands of years this festival has been held in Orissa India until in 1967 it was inaugurated in San Francisco and since then is being held in all the major cities of the world. The procession starts at 4:30 pm.
